Experience in a custom job shop manufacturing environment & the ability to work independently with confidence.

Strong knowledge of speeds, feeds, cycle times and the ability to estimate machine time and costs.

Knowledge and understanding of Blue prints, Operation Procedures, Tooling & Job Shop work flow.

Experience in CNC milling; working with pallet changers and multiple up fixtures; CNC turning; Swiss Turning and Manual machines.

Computer skills important.

Summary

The estimator will be responsible for analyzing & understanding customer blue prints that arrive with the customers Request for Quote (RFQ).  The estimator will then create a manufacturing process & assign time to each step in that process.  From that process, create quotations for precision machined components, and assemblies produced in the CNC milling, Turning, Swiss turning & prototype departments using the E2 Shoptech Software.
