Foreman - CNC Milling Department
The ideal candidate must schedule the machines and personnel in the CNC Department to meet the customers on time delivery and quality expectations while maintaining profitability levels and fostering a creative teamwork driven environment. To accomplish these goals the candidate would be responsible for planning, scheduling, machine efficiencies (actual vs. estimates), machine up time, trouble shooting, training operators, process improvements and tooling improvements.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of CNC Milling experience coupled with the ability communicate and train others.
Ability to monitor “actual time quote on the job” vs. the “estimated time” to assist those operators who are not meeting minimum daily production requirements.
Follow up while the job is in process for operator changes to programs, processes, tooling sheets, & offsets.
Be involved in first part/prototyping jobs to ensure a quality product in the appropriate amount of time.
Diagnosis problems with machining and tooling and call in resources as needed to solve problems.
Candidates must have their own tools. This is a full-time day shift position in a clean, air-conditioned, modern facility. Overtime Required.
